Do not direct link from someone else's domain because that steals their bandwidth, and they could get upset (unless they give you permission of course because I won't be checking either way).
If you need a free host try
photobucket or
imageshack.
Please make sure your icon or banner isn't explicit.
Max icon size is 100x100px.
Only use 1 banner, or 2 rows of 3 icons because I don't want people who have dial up to be unable to read the forum.
